Technicolor chaos: finished 'toon
YES, yes, I know I've been AWOL for a good few weeks, but my excuse has been a pretty good one: paid cartoonery, which is currently ongoing. I've been drawing advertising strips for the sides of packaging so I've had to put BABY BOOMER on the back-burner for a few weeks, sadly........but the good news is that I was thrown in at the proverbial 'deep end' regarding utilizing digital colour, and after a few frustrating months, I have finally 'cracked' the technique needed to put out decent color images, which should help the polished look of my technicolor yarns no end. The very early color images within this blog were all done on ONE single layer---and although this is certainly possible-----the use of layered colouring has added a better gloss that is more sealed-in and less 'all over the shop' than the stuff I done on this score just a scant few months back.
