Supplementary Benefits
Back in my youthful daze, the term supplementary benefit was the equivalent of todays' 'jobseekers' allowance' in the Yoo-Kay, or 'the sup' as it was affectionately known by long-term shirkers of the period---and I am delighted to adapt this very British term to a post heading.
