At long, long , last---oh, alright, who really cares at this point!------- the young babe and his companions make a belated comeback, in brand-new artwork,---and not only that, the experience have garnered doing more commercial stuff for customers now means that my overall digital artwork is improving immensely:  witness this widescreen satirical piece:

I've just this week recieved these sterling pix from a happy customer Down Under, who entrusted me enough to devise and design a 'customized motor' for her catering services [of the mobile kind] To be honest, I was a bit concerned about the quality of the characters being 'blown up' from small drawings: happily, by all accounts, the finished results are most satisfactory, I am pleased to report.... First up, the finished artwork of the catering cartoon characters, followed by some of the actual customized van shots:

Yes, it's been a long, long, time, readers, but I sho' haven't given up drawing: I just simply ain't been showing me stuff, it all beiing tied up with copyright malarkey and what-have-you: my digital 'toon technique has happily been coming on leaps and bounds, and for starters, here's a logo design I produced for the U S Army, no less: ---more stuff on here soon, chuckies.

It's de-clogging the Hard Drive once, again, chuckies, and so before these cartoons are transferred onto shiney disk, I might as well parade 'em on here: this was a fairly recent job that came out of the blue [it happens more often than you might imagine] and had to be done pretty quickly. No sweat------digital techniques means, of course, that many of the same elements can be rearranged and reused ---most notably here, in the use of the same background 'plate'. There should be enough to look at here, so none of the usual 'supplementary material' in order to avoid the dreaded barrel-scraping...... this was a Christmas Ad campaign for an Electrical Repair Company, ECS.

A one-off entry, in which we  witness an illustration for a film-script I co-wrote with an associate 10 years ago; it was a rambling sci-fi fantasy, culling elements from 1960s  TV Avengers, Blade Runner, Back to the Future,  etc, etc......the heroine was clearly inspired by the vision of Emma Peel/Diana Rigg. Great fun writing a script, but I would only attempt it again if I was paid upfront next time.........do any producers actually read many of these scripts, I wonder? below: the usual supplementary item:

After a long hiatus from the strip, in which I have been working as a paid cartune-ist of blobbular inksmanship, it's time to delve into the BABY BOOMER archives once again, and I am pleased to report that this site/blog has been garnering prrrettty good audience scores, even when I left the blog for several weeks------I thank you for your encouraging response, me hearties. In way of compensation, some of the older but gooder strips have been hand-picked by the author, and---in a trice-------are in the process of attaining a TECHNICOLOR sheen: the first fruits of revamped-but-colorized labors can be seen below, readers: more full-spectrum offerings are in 'da woix', all you happy taxpayers!
